About Event
Taking 10 hours and 11 minutes to complete, Prabhat’s first international swim in cold water in English waters was a personal best for him. Round Jersey swims are traditionally started from the Elizabeth Castle breakwater, from where you will swim in an anti-clockwise direction around the island until you return to the breakwater, which will take approximately 10-12 hours. A number of swims have started from Green Island in the past due to logistical considerations, and Jane Luscombe’s swim began and ended at St Catherine’s Breakwater in the past. Despite the passage of time, a plaque commemorating her swim can still be found at St Catherine’s breakwater. Read National Events!
