The remarkable cold water swims from Robben Island to mainland Blouberg is known as the Freedom Swim. We used to hold it as a one-day mass participation event every year. About Event
It’s swimming completion second swim of the tour, 7.4km from Robben Island – Blouberg in the Atlantic Ocean, it’s one of the extreme conditions swim the temp. of water was 130c – 140c, choppy Sea. Around 200 swimmers participate from 20 countries Prabhat clock 2hrs 02min secure 11th place in the race. Read National Events!
